Let’s first talk about the screen. It’s 32 Inches and it’s touch screen. Although this feature isn’t unique to Peloton, it’s probably the best screen on any treadmill you can find. But that doesn’t mean you should get this treadmill just because of its advanced screen.
You can get by with a middle of the road screen (or no screen at all) and get a great workout. But this huge screen offers something and that is it’s connected classes. With this feature you can take live classes to help you push through your workout. Which you can get with other treadmills as well.

A newer feature that see are starting to see on treadmills is the slatted belt feature. The thing about slatted belts is they are more durable, less likely to be damaged due to wear and tear, and they also give you more grip, so you don’t slip. As you will see there are a lot of treadmills that have this feature like Peloton and many curved style treadmills.
Manual Feature
A lot of people may not be aware but there are treadmills that aren’t built with a motor. In order to use these treadmills, you manually have to start running to move the belt of the treadmill.
And while the peloton does have a motor and you can run on it being motor powered, you can also switch it to its manual mode where you manually run without electric power. But if you are looking for treadmills that are exclusively manual treadmills then you can get ones for much cheaper as you will see.
